Founder of the International Community of Emerging Researchers in Mathematics Education I 2016-present
The International Community of Emerging Researchers in Mathematics Education (ICERME) is a self-governing, international community of emerging researchers in mathematics education, dedicated to the interest of all emerging researchers in the field of mathematics education supported by the International Commission on Mathematical Instruction (ICMI). ICERME brings together national and international initiatives to promote professional development and to inform emerging researchers about activities that take place around the world. The overarching aim of ICERME is to set the stage for dialogue among emerging researchers in mathematics education and to create opportunities for networking and professional development of emerging researchers. https://www.icerme.com
Co-Organizer of the Early Career Researcher Day at ICME-13 I 2016
The Early Career Researcher Day (ECRD) at ICME-13 (13th International Congress on Mathematical Education) was held in Hamburg (Germany) on July 24, 2016. ECRD was the first professional development program dedicated to early career researchers held prior to ICME. ECRD aimed to offer multiple opportunities to extend early career researchers' understanding of scientific research and to build meaningful relationships (both professional and personal) with early career researchers from all over the world. 450 early career researchers from 51 nations participated at ECRD.

Establishing Educational Initiatives (Gründungsinitiativen für Bildungskonzepte) is a special working group of the Foundation of German Business (Stiftung der Deutschen Wirtschaft) dedicated to fellows interested in developing educational initiatives and in supporting educational leaders promoting educational change in schools and educational institutions. A national seminar on 'School founding: from vision to reality' (Schule gründen: Von der Vision zum Gründungskonzept) took place in Hamburg (Germany) from April 17 to April 19, 2015.
